The North wall
North Wall has some of the best scuba diving in the Caribbean and world class dive sites. The almost vertical drop offs into the abyss are spectacular and followed up by various pinnacles, gullies, canyons and swim throughs. Coral coverage is extensive and well preserved, and north wall offers the opportunity to see hammerheads plus all the usual flora and fauna. We max our depth from 60ft to 100ft (unless deep speciality / technical trained) and then multi level dive our way to the top and onto the inshore side of the wall at 50ft +/- using dive computer profiles. With over 30 dive sites to choose from, each dive site has something unique to offer. All dives to North Wall are boat dives and where we do the majority of our dusk dives. North Wall is also well suited for using enriched air / nitrox (see Enriched Air / Nitrox page).
Stingray City ( Scroll over images for rollover effect )
There are in fact 2 Stingray Cities on Grand Cayman, Stingray City sandbar (see Stingray City / Snorkeling page) and Stingray City deep, both situated in the North Sound, only Stingray City deep permits diving. This unique site allows for interaction with the southern stingrays that frequent this location. Maximum depth is 14ft onto sand with surrounding coral bommies and the fringing reef that drops to the North Wall. This site is suitable for divers and snorkelers. The stingrays are fed whilst divers kneel in a semi circle and then the stingrays interact with the divers. After, we swim to the coral bommies and are quite often joined by “Nuisance”, a very inquisitive green moray eel. Barracuda and snapper are regularly seen and sightings of turtles, eagle rays and nurse shark do happen. We find that if we are double tanking to North Wall, that this dive is a good second option and is great for photo opportunities.

West bay ( Scroll over images for rollover effect )The dive sites of West Bay stretch all the way along Seven Mile beach. Some of the shallower dive sites are accessible from shore and just a short swim out. The other sites are just a quick boat ride away from 7 Mile beach or West Bay dock, and again vary from shallower inshore reefs to wall dives. The drop offs slope progressively down into the abyss with many swim throughs, sand chutes, and gullies. The coral coverage is good and visibility is excellent. Again we max our depth from 60ft to 100ft (unless deep speciality / technical trained) and then multi level our way up the wall and onto the inshore side at 50ft +/- using dive computer profiles. West bay has 50+/- dive sites and 4 wrecks (including the USS Kittiwake – Grand Cayman's latest dive attraction).

The South Sound gives us the opportunity to dive when North Wall and West Bay dive sites are unavailable due to weather. The inshore sites vary from 40 – 60ft sloping gently to 70ft +/- and are full of gullies, swim throughs and arches. The outer wall starts at around 70ft and then plummets drastically into the Cayman Trench 6000 ft below. All dives are boat dives and max depth for dives is between 60 – 100ft (unless deep speciality / technical trained) and we then multi level our way to the top of the wall and inshore using dive computer profiles. South Sound has 30+ dive sites to choose from.
